An environment has more impact on people’s health; it is believed that trees should be planted in the vacant areas of cities and town, while opponents argue housing facilities should be developed instead. I completely agree that trees should be grown in the vacant areas. The logical reasons with supported examples will be discussed further in this essay.
As far as trees are concerned, it plays a central role in an improvement of the environment conditions. Trees, for instance, absorbs the carbon footprints such as CO2 from the air. Furthermore, trees are helpful to reduce the effect of global warming. According to one research, it has been found that, trees contributes towards the environment by reducing the temperature by 3 to 5 degree celsius. Apart from that, growing plants helps to decrease urben-heat-island effect by controlling the heatwave. Not only plantation of trees have positive effect on environment but it also provide the natural habitat to the birds and shelter to the animals, that helps to grow their population.
In contrast, redevelopment of dilapidated buildings is possible rather than plantation of trees. In addition, certain outskirt areas buildings can be constructed on barren land to provide residence to humans.
To conclude, tree plantation is vital as it contributes towards the environment by improving the air quality, maintaining good temperature, and providing natural habitat to the animals and birds. Apart from that redevelopment of the dilapidated building is considered logical owing to the growth of the population, and people should build buildings in the barren lands as it is of no use.
