In modern times, the issue of children’s activities in their free time has become highly controversial. These days, a considerable number of people are of the opinion that parents should encourage their children to take part in group activities, while others insist that they should learn individually in their free time. In this essay, I will examine both sides of the argument and provide my overall opinion.
Generally speaking, there are a number of reasons why some people say that children should be involved in group activities such as cricket, science, football, and different organizational groups. Perhaps the main reason why people are in favor of this idea is because group efforts increase their voluntary experience. A good illustration of this is that those who take part in these activities are able to work for many international organizations, such as the WHO, UN, etc. A further point in favor of children’s being joined in group activities is that they rapidly increased their analytical and communication skills. As a result, they are able to solve any tricky or difficult situation.
Despite these arguments, there is also a case for the idea that children should learn personally in their own spaces. The main reason people think that this is an idea is because they can do more research on many topics, such as science, business, etc. This is because personal spaces create a good environment. Furthermore, when children learn personally, they can improve their many personal skills, such as communication, business, etc. For example, many children are a little shy; that’s why they are not able to speak in public immediately and spend their free time occupying themselves to create these opportunities.
In conclusion, group activities in free time raise strong passions on both sides of the argument. If we look at both sides of the argument, it is clear that parents should motivate their children to participate in group activities in their free time.
