A few individuals think that parents need to encourage their offspring toward organized group activities. While others opine that it is best to motivate them to engage themselves in solitary pursuits. From my perspective, group activities enhance knowledge and social skills. Nonetheless, engaging in solitary pursuits help them to find their talent and make them independent. All these points will be examined here with my own opinion.
Proponents of group activities encourage children because of its several a=advantages. Firstly, when adolescents play sports with their friends, they learn various things. It enriches their knowledge regarding team management and leadership skills. They learn a number of physical skills, such as agility, quick reflexes, and hand-eye coordination. Furthermore, being a part of a team at school is beneficial for their development. They grab social skills, when they communicate with each other and assist each other for achieving their objectives. It also fosters a sense of well-being.
However, engaging offsprings in solitary pursuits is ultimately advantageous for their development. In particular, they prefer their favorite activity like sketching, arts, and building structures. It uplifts their concentration, creativity and mental power. They try to find their hidden talent for their career progression. Moreover, it makes them independent, and they take most of their decisions by themselves. They understand various responsibilities. Also, getting in touch with an activity which they like, they feel happy, relaxed and energetic.
In conclusion, in light of the aforementioned argument, it is evident that both the ideas are beneficial for children’s growth. It helps them to use their leisure time productively. Group activities foster social skills. Whereas, engaging in solitary pursuits make them self-dependent and responsible. Both activities tech them a sense of overall well-being. In my opinion, it depends on children’s parents what is best for them according to their nature.
