Finding the optimum method to rise a child, is considered as one of the toughest subjects in physcological science, Especialley when dealing with their behavioral problems. Some parents tend to punishment when noticing mistakes and believe and believe on its positive effece. On the other hand, others prefer the reward them eveytime they do something good. In this essay, both points of view will be discussed, furthermore it will be proven that avoiding punshiment is the choosen way.
To begin with, parents who use a harsh way to rise a child, will notice a change in their son or daughter action. However the response differ from one to another, some children will aviod such an action, in seek of their parents satisfaction, while others tend to continue behind their parents eye. No matter what their decesion was, the inner believe of the child of their action did not influenced, for example if a boy smoke a cigeratte and his father catch him and punish him, he will learn that he should not smoke infront on him rather than quit smoking at all. Thus punishment will force the child to prevent doing the action in the eyes of their parents, but their inner believe will not change.
Focusing on young’s positive attitude, and encourging them with rewards everytime, will indeed plant this behavior in their believe. Sometimes the child main desire of an action, is to have their parent’s attention. Therefore if a positive behavior is not sufficient to their interst, the kid will most likely to abandon it, and goes for negative action instead, as they will grap some attention. However if the parents did not give a value of bad actions, and basically clarify their insatisfaction, then ignore the child every other time, the child will eventually give up, and will search for another way to value their action in their parents eye.
To sum up, punishment is a temporary soultion as it will solve the problem with parent’s present. However the child will find a way to do it out of their sight. Therefore the best way to treat a child is by encourging their positive features by gifts and complament, and ignoring the negative actions until they vanish.
