There is a group of people who claim that the main enviromental problem of the current time is the loss of certain species of plants and animals, while another group assert that there are more important enviromental issues. From my perspective, despite the loss of species I think that issues, such as globar warming and air pollution are more substantial.
On the one hand, some individuals consider that the loss of particular species of plants and animals is the main enviromental problem of our time. They assert that as a result of constructing many houses and skyscrapers in urban areas, there has been a significnant decline in the number of certain species of plants. That is because, such constructions occupy a large area and most of them are now being build by replacing green areas. In addition, they argue that there has been a significant decline in the particular species of animals, especially in the countryside. They claim that it has been triggered particularly by poachers. As a result of animal hunting, the number of some species has diminished and several of them have become even endangered. However, there are some other enviromental issues which are more important.
One of the severe enviromental problems is global warming. As we live in the 21st century when humankind has become less interested about the problems of their surroundings and via verca started to contribute them. For example, nowadays, people burn all of their trash right on their street and factories, instead of trying to recycle their waste also burn it massively. As a result, these factors have contributed to global warming and in some countries, like Uzbekistan, the winter season has literally vanished. Another more important issue is air pollution. Today, when almost everyone has their own cars, they have started to use gas to fuel their vehicles which has had a crucial impact on the air quality. For examlple, in my hometown, as literally each person possess a car and the main source of fueling is a methane, the air has become too dirty and even ranked first among most polluted cities.
To conclude, while some people think that loss of particular species of plants and animals, which are exerted as a result of construction and poachers, is the major enviromental problem, I consider that issues, such as global warming triggered by burning waste, and air pollution exerted by over-using methane to fuel vehicles are more important threats for the environment.
