Globalizaion has led to people learning various languages to communicate with locals who live in different regions. While the main reasons for this development are to work and travel to foreign countries, I argue that there are far more benefits in learning a new language.

Bilengual people have a significant advantage over those who only speak one language when it comes to working or traveling to a new country. This is because they are able to communicate with others, as well as adapt to the change easily. For instance, a person that can speak french can talk to the locals to acquire information and narrow the knowledge gap. Therefore, both travel and work can benefit from this skill.

With that being said, the two reasons mentioned above are the tips of the ice-burge. learning new language enables people to understand the culture and heritage of a nation, build relationships with someone that has a different language, and gain access to book and other mediumes that are written or produced with a foreign language. One example of this are archiologists that work on projects around the world; knowing the language of the area they are studing will give them better insight and understanding of the haritage they are studying.

In conclusion, Language is a useful skill to have while traveling or working in foreign counties. However, I believe there are more cases where this skill can be utilized, ranging from education to sharing and creating a link between people from different backrounds.
