Opinions are divergent on people believe commuting to other nations reaps benefits to acknowledge other cultures while others suggest that learning various traditions on the internet, particularly TV also raises awareness among worldwide. This essay will illustrate both views before concluding that I agree more with the former views.
On the one hand, it is understandable that why people assume to explore abroad cultures on the internet because of its comfortable and money savings. Currently, thanks to the advanced of technology, individuals have accesses to concentrate knowledge online without any extra fee. For instance, they can completely search for other cultures with a simple click on Googles or watch travel vlogs from various influencers all over the world to understand their traditions that depict their lives on the internet. Moreover, audiences can understand people’s lives in other countries by watching several Youtubers who record their daily lives, exploring distinct narratives from international cultures to traditions, hobbies or habits at anytime, anywhere they want with their devices. In addition, almost videos on TV and internet are free to gain knowledge about reality situations in the world, people have a positive proclivity to follow them effectively and frequently to gain new perceptions on the screen. Considering these factors, the idea of identifying the world online seems perfectly justifiable.
On the other hand, I stand with the side who say that people should have their own experience to touch and feel the real cultures around the world. Instead of watching, hearing and imaging the world among digital pictures or videos, visitors can help their own emotions and feelings when travelling to new areas. Because each country has its own lifestyle, in some cases where people did not have a chance to go to Japan, they would not know making a loud sound while eating is showing respect to the chefs in which in Vietnam it becomes an impolite activity. The argument in flavor of having a real time visiting different regions is further fortified by the fact that indeed, images or videos online will not show the negative things or the actual problems in their nations to the world. Hence, travelers need to experience by their own when spending time during a long flight, using money for new knowledge of traditional clothes, eating special beverages worldwide to recognize the differences and importances of international tourism.
In conclusion, while there are justifications for advocating get knowledge about the world on digital devices, I would contend that actual travel trip will get beneficial experiences for commuters when it comes to adopting new cultures by their own ways.
