In the contemporary world,the question is about whether art-based lessons including painting or music are not supposed to be obligatory in school education has always been a complex and multifaceted issue.To some extend I agree art lessons ought not to be made for students because of some reasons,but I still believe there are other aspects to consider.
On the one hand,there are some reasons why I agree with those who think painting should be obligatory for students.First of all,students can help to promote creativity and self-expression.To clarify,pupils provide opportunity to explore their creativity and themselves artistically.As a result,they may enhance their overall sense of self-esteem and confidence.Unless art courses are taught as a major subject in school curriculum,students will not reveal their individual interests and abilities.Therefore,it is significant for pupils to teach art lessons as a core subject in educational system.
On the other hand,certain cases need to be taken into account.Admittedly,entrance exams of most universities do not include art subjects,so it is unnecessary to force all students to join art classes.This is particularly the case for those who only focus on university entrance exams and not be interested in art-related lessons.If they must unwillingly join in these lessons,this would have a negative effect on their academic results.Considering that, It is vital for students not to teach art-related lessons in school curriculum for their future results.
In conclusion,I have mixed opinions about art-related lessons and certain cases could be true for different circumtances.That’s why holding a firm opinion about It is more difficult than it seems and balance should be the priority in my view.
