Some people argue that both the painting and drawing should not be important as an inevitable arts subjects for high school pupils . I completely agree with this statement, because student’s interests and job opportunity for this arts works are mere , thus no need to make these subjects as a mandatory one.
Arts subjects like painting and drawing are very creative part of the human brain . Every child might not has the capability to imagine perfectly. Neither pupils interested nor have the creativity ideas, definitely scores a bad grade in these subjects.For instance, in a class only one of the total students may be an artist.
Furthermore, there are only few artists are satisfied with their job. However, the payment done for local artists are very mere. Majority of the students keep their creative mind aside and focuses on their job oriented subjects, although some of them choose arts as their passion or hobby. For example, the arts campain held by higher secondary school Padne, in 2024 September 28, reports that the number of students participated were very less and the reason for this that the decline of interests on the art subjects . Moreover, students want to prepare for their annual examinations based on the science subjects.
In summary, arts subjects should not be considered as an important for each and every student . In my opinion, drawing and painting classes should be optional for high school students. By this , interested students will have a chance to improve their skills, even though no one compell to join this class . One of the main reasons to make arts class not compulsory for high school student is the different types of commitments towards the arts by the teenagers. Sometimes less opportunity in this field held the students from choosing arts as a career path.
