It is considered by some that the government ought to pour more money into artworks such as paintings or status in cities, which can make the towns more appealing to others. I am fervently in favour of disagreeing with this phenomenon, and this essay will provide in-depth analysis for my opinion.
On the one hand, it is undeniable that artwork installations contribute to aesthetics and cultural richness, which are attractive to not only residents but also foreigners. Take visual value, for example, some artworks such as statues and fountains in public places can make the environment and atmosphere there more harmonious and familiar with nature as well. Moreover, each artwork has different messages and profound meanings inside such as associating with historical events or biographies of someone, which are useful for students to learn lessons from it and also enhance, even strengthen a sense of community and patriotism.
On the other hand, despite the aforementioned, this phenomenon still exists in some restricted aspects. First and foremost, before proceeding with any arts, the government need to consider some prerequisites such as operating costs and maintenance fees which need a certain amount of money to remain. For instance, if arts have a high value, it would be an aim for some vandals to orient as drawing and throwing things on works. On top of that, natural disasters are also the reasons to pour more money into maintaining it because of ruin and erosion. Both the above causes are the main factors leading to money consumption. Therefore, instead of wasting money, the government should use money more appropriately for other useful purposes such as building homes for the homeless or refurbishing the infrastructures that can advance the quality of life.
In conclusion, it can be seen that artworks have a huge positive impact on our lives and society. Nevertheless, the limitations of this issue are overwhelming the former because of money consumption. Therefore, the government instead of wasting money on work arts. Perhaps, investing in residents’ lives is smarter and more helpful.
