Since only necessary subjects are thought in schools, dilemma about which one is more crucial takes its place in society’s discussion. Some people believe that it is history, while others are sure that it is science. In this essay, I will provide views of both sides and give my own opinion.
Overall, there is a quotation “You cannot predict future, if you do not know past”, which is totally true. Based on the global situations that have happened recently, it is proved that all new thingsevents are well-forgotten past. For this reason, it is important not only for pupils, but also for adults to study history. Moreover, history of a person’s own people is the most valuable knowledge they can gain. The more a person knows, the closer he or she can get to his or her history. Furthermore, students may have strong attraction to their culture, motherland, country or people through history.
On the other hand, it is a 21st century, so science and technology, for example, artificial intelligence, are becoming ubiquitous a year over a year. For this reason, some individuals think that those subjects should be paid more attention by teachers, parents or teenagers in comparison with other subjects. Specifically, both practice works and laboratory experiments should be conducted at schools to show the real work and arouse interest of participants, which are students. Indeed, this interest will grow to the desire to make it as a source of revenue, so companies are going to have more efficient, passionate and qualified specialists.
In general, taking into account all facts, I reckon that history is the most important subject: it was, it is and it will be. Nevertheless, the value of science is not annulled by this, as well as other subjects that have not mentioned.
In conclusion, education system is complicated and logical at the same time: all disciplines have their own influence on people’s life. Significance and importance of all subjects cannot be told apart.
