An increasing number of individuals hold the view that raising the price of fuel is an efficient way to decrease the issues related to the environment. In fact, this trend makes many people tend to use less fuel in order to save their money. In my opinion, this solution is one of the best choices in making it a habit. My explanation towards this will be illustrated in the following essay.
Firstly, while governments plunge the cost of fuel, people with low and medium income turn to consuming less fuel in a way that they become able to afford their other requirements. Furthermore, more people choose public transportation for their movements within the city. As a result, not only fewer nonrenewable sources of energy are used, but also the habit of driving personal vehicles falls down.
Moreover, the more tendency people have to public transport, the less air pollution is produced. In addition, residents experience less traffic within the streets.
On the other hand, while the cost of the mentioned source of energy rises, people with low income encounter the difficulty to pay for it. This brings about more anxiety for citizens during the cold time of the year. Finally, people have to spend most of their earnings on providing fuel. So they lack money to dedicate to other expenses.
To sum up, a group of individuals believe that if the pay for fuel grows, many environmental issues will be solved. From my perspective, this is an effective method absolutely. However, governments should pay attention to people’s salary to avoid their poverty.
