Some individuals believe that instructors have a larger impact than parents on the growth of skills and talents among children. Although teachers play a pivotal role for fostering a lot of positive qualities among their students, I disagree that their impact are greater than parents for certain reasons.
Not only do instructors have undeniable influence on children’s behavior, but they can also instill many valuable lessons to the students. Training is a versatile tool for teachers to convey many masseges, improving many beneficial habits for children. These practices have both educational and ethical values, which are reinforced by teacher’s feedbacks in various contexts. Additionally, academic disciplines are structured and detailed approaches that are suitable for cultivation of children. Beyond curriculum and its benefits, teachers are well familiar with the up-to-dated methods of teaching, enabling children to stay in the right track through accurate monitoring.
Apart from role of teachers, parents account for the most essential part of children’s lives. A 2019 survey in Europe revealed that children state that parents are the most vital role model in their lives. This claim is supported by the fact that children mainly spend time with their loved ones, replicating their parents’ personalities and habits. Moreover, families are resoponsible for upbringing of children, particularly before school time. Beyond parents’ role, it is said that children may inherit numerous traits of parents before birth, justifying many instinctive qualities. For example, many boys have shown similar talents and skills with their fathers.
In conclusion, while teachers have substantial impact on children’s behavior, I believe that family has greater influence in shaping the personality and development of children.
