While it is claimed that school ought to be teach children to compete, others believe that the emphasis at school should be on cooperation.From my point of view, I reckon that children should be taught to cooperate with others to gain essential communication skills for their future life.
One the one hand, some people argue that children can do well in their school by competing directly with their classmates.In other words,they can perform to get higher grades ,and consequently, get motivation to do the best in their studies or tasks. Furthermore, they can deal with confrontations and challenge bravely all the adversities that would encounter in their later life.
On the other hand, it is often said that cooperation can teach children how to work along side with others and I agree.For example, students are asked to do a presentation in the university, which enhancetheir communication skills.They would realize how to break the ice and widen their social circle through school activities.
In conclusion, while people may vary in their opinions about this topic, I consider that cooperating with others can teach children how to react others flexibly in their future life.
