Band 5+: Some people think that good planning is the key factor for success in life. Others think that there is hard work, and luck is a factor that leads to success. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

While good planning is thought to be the most crucial element contributing to success in a human-being life by a group of people, others think differently that hard-working attitudes and luck also play an important role leading to prosperity. I will discuss both of these views in my essay below.

On the one hand, it is true that good arrangement is vital as we, normal human, hardly conscious of what happens above us and take control of these things which leads to difficulties to handle inevitable incidents. For example, without listing all what we have to put in cart during grocery time, we may have trouble with needed stuff that we had to buy. Many external factors can affect our mind and we can easily misunderstand anything even the simplest things like shopping daily needs. Futhermore, excellent arrangement can put your goals in life under control and easily follow its progress to ensure you still in the right lane.

On the other hand, not only fine planning but also hard work and luck are feasible factors that lead to success. Enduring and resilience are the essential qualities that everyone whose aim is to be successful must consistently train to achieve. Luck may seem as a non-remarkable element but many circumstances highlight this factor. Bill Gates, for instance, co-founded the popular software company named Microsoft. Besides having a gifted ability and intensive passion for computer software technology , Gates was so fortunate to be born in a wealthy family which provided him the previous opportunity to be exposed to the world’s first computers in the 1980s contributing to the princial factor to his success in technological realm.

In conclusion, while good planning and hard work are undeniably essential for achieving success, it is important to acknowledge that factors beyond one’s control—such as luck and social background—can significantly influence life outcomes. In some cases, individuals are born with inherent advantages that make the path to success much shorter and easier. Therefore, although personal effort should never be underestimated, success is not always a level playing field, and luck remains a powerful, if unpredictable, factor.
