It has been observed that governments should tax unhealthy foods to encourage people to eat healthier diets. Although some people believe that government should not tax unhealthy foods. I familiar agree with the given statement. My inclination is elaborated in ensuing paragraph and relevant examples.
The foremost argument to justify my stand is that the authorities should impose taxes on unhealthier foods; therefore support personal freedom and financial fairness. For instance authorities should pay ten percent tax for unhealthier foods. Besides this, it also true that French friers and others junk foods can be addictive; once you start eating them, you want eat them more and more often.
Furthermore, the others reason on my point is that we should eat organic food rather than genetically food. Because of that, government should tax unhealthy foods to encourage people to eat healthier diets. In addition that junk food can be bring to addiction.
On the contrary, some individuals counter claim the mentioned support. The foremost argument they do is some poor people cannot eat healthy food because their budget cannot allow that. To add to this many people do not want eat healthy food and governments should not tax unhealthy foods.
To the conclusion the discussion, it can be said that despite the fact of some poor people cannot eat healthy food because their budget cannot allow that are logically acceptable support personal freedom and financial fairness to government.
