In contemporary society, most of people believe that human start to have a reliance lifestyle which make them loss the independent skills, others argue that much people have become more self-reliance than in the past. In my opinion, I contend that both ideas hold valid truths and i support them. This essay will clarify the reasons behind this perspective.
On the one hand, people rely on each other more than ever due to economic and technological advancements. Global supply chains mean that no country or individual can be completely self-sufficient, as goods, services, and resources are interconnected worldwide.Additionally, technology has created complex systems where individuals depend on digital communication, online services, and shared knowledge. Society also encourages interdependence through cultural exchange, as different perspectives influence values and behaviors. Moreover, global challenges such as climate change and pandemics have shown that nations must collaborate to find solutions, making interdependence a necessity rather than a choice.
On the other hand, modern society has also empowered individuals to become more independent. The rise of individualism promotes self-reliance, encouraging people to take responsibility for their own lives and pursue personal goals. Technology and automation have provided tools that reduce reliance on others-for instance, online education allows individuals to learn without teachers, while remote work enables people to work from anywhere. Moreover, shifting social norms have granted people more autonomy, particularly in personal relationships, as individuals , especially women-now have more freedom to choose their partners or remain single.
In conclusion, both trends exist simultaneously. While economic and technological factors create interdependence, individuals also have more opportunities for independence. The balance between the two depends on personal choices and circumstances.
