These days, one of the most topical issues in the civilized world is the participation of children in paid work. Although some people are of the view that the involvement of children in work for payment can be useful, other people believe that it can be detrimental. In my opinion, I consider that tasks for money can bring about more advantages for children compared to any problems it might cause.
Despite the drawbacks mentioned later, there is several reasons why I believe the benefits gained by doing work for money are extremely useful for children. Firstly, it can be said that earlier work experiences can develop an understanding of the value of money. This is a crucial lesson to learn as it help to realize not to waste by realizing the amount of efforts needed to earn it. A further point in favor of participation of youngers in tasks is that they can start growing their idea for saving money. As a result, they will be able to lead financially comfortable life in future by managing the money properly.
By contrast, another group of the rest individuals argue that working for money can make a negative impact on children for many reasons. Perhaps, the most notable option is that exploitation of children for long time works. An alarming illustration of can be hired from developing and underdeveloped countries where youngers are used for full-time works. However, it is not seen in the developed areas across the world. Another controversial aspect to mention is that the time children spend for workings could prevent them focusing on their academic development. Definitely, having a good educational qualification is key to success in their future journey.
Having considered both advantages and disadvantages, the critical lessons that children can learn when they gathered experience in paid task will make them stronger to survive by outweighing any disadvantages.
