A lot of people think they are helpless when it comes to the topic of improving their surroundings. They think it is purely the responsibility of authoritative bodies and huge organizations to take steps for the improvement of their environment. In my point of view, it is a shared responsibility, on all entities like companies, authoritative bodies, as well as individuals, to play their part in it.
Governments and large organizations have to play a key role in the cleanliness of the environment. For example, governments can make strict rules and regulations in this regard, and they can also invest in increasing forestation and work to improve infrastructure so there should be less noise pollution. Also, they can develop better waste management systems which will help in keeping the towns as well as water passages clean.
Individuals will also have to play their part in improving the environment. For example, they have to be proactive at an individual level, like using less water in daily life to minimize water pollution. They have to avoid things which make noise to manage noise pollution. Similarly, they have to keep their air clean by not burning things which create air pollution.
In conclusion, I would say everyone has to play their part to keep the environment safe. Recently, the world is moving towards carbon dating, which is a very positive sign in this regard.
