some people think women are not that competitive compared to men. While I agree that men are naturally more competitive than women but I think women can be as much as competitive as men if not more if there is a need.
on the one hand, women who are surppressed for generations when they get the opportunity to escape from the that they get more competitive. people will get competitive if they feel insecure about something that is on the line for them to lose if they don’t act quickly. In the modern world, women wants to be independent so they feel the need to be more competitive than men. For example, Malala Yousef who is a Pakistani Activist who got married in her teens and lost her husband in twenties has became the most popular advocate for children and women rights in her nation.
on the other hand, males whose image was constructed as providers and protectors of the family by the society has naturally much more inclined to get competitive because of the social burden placed on them. If they don’t get competitive or hustle more than their peer they may lose the job or lose their marks in exam which may result in them not being able to feed their families. For example, men all around the world contribute more Gross Domestic Product to their countries than their females counterparts.
In conclusion, I agree that men are naturally more inclined to get competitive due the social burden than women. But, women can be as competitive as men if they want to be competitive.
