It is argued that money is one of the most important reasons for creating happiness. I certainly believe that people can be happy without much money as real happiness is inside of nature, new cultures and in ourselves, money can not buy happiness. Also, there are some other factors supporting happiness such as love and doing what you are passionate about.
To begin with, money can only be a tool to promote positivity when spending time in nature, connecting with other people and our inside journey. To be more clear, if we have money, we can have a more quality life but this money does not have to be too much. that means, someone can be considerably cheerful without much money. For instance, world backpackers are commonly people who tend to be very energetic and happy. The reason for that is they discover the world’s beauties as much as they can, and they get to know lots of people having different languages, cultures, and lifestyles. While doing this, they do not spend much money, actually, their budget is very limited so they mostly do not even use a plane or a car, they prefer eco-friendly and low-budget transportation methods such as bicycle or sometimes hitchhiking. Besides, these nomads do not stay at expensive hotels, but they prefer cheap options such as hostels or they basically sleep near the train station. This is an option for someone to discover what enjoys them and who they want to be in their life. Thus, the value of obtaining vision and seeing the world from different perspectives makes them stay positive and when this connects with inner peace, it creates happiness.
On the other hand, there are some ways to contribute happiness such as love and passion. when you love someone or something, you want it more because it makes you feel fulfilled. Similarly, passion leads to consistency and when these two combine, you learn to stay with the flow and you get satisfaction fully from whatever you have done, once, a disabled man stayed at my home and he was traveling to Turkey with his wife. He said that they both quit their job and now they are very happy to travel around the world, he even makes fun of himself while he acknowledges himself with the way he is. The feeling of flow does not require any money or other material things as material things always bring dissatisfaction and the need to obtain more. In contrast, when you stay with the flow, you do not need anything else except your healthy mind and body.
In conclusion, even if it is argued that money is an essential factor in happiness, I certainly stand with the idea that happiness coming from spending time in nature, meeting new people, and finding inner peace is the permanent one and the emotion of passion and love are the milestones of pure happiness.
