It is argued by many individuals that were they to pay the taxes, they can contribute to their society in a great way, while others say that paying taxes is not the only way to help the society thrive. This essay will discuss both views before explaining why I do believe that just paying the bills is not enough to develop our economy.
The advantages of merely paying the taxes should be considered first. The most obvious advantage is the financial stability of residents. Should dwellers be responsible for paying the expenses of their use of water, gas and electricity, and without extra spending on other unnecessary things such as the usage of the soil and for the restoration of the environment, they are highly likely to save up considerable amount of money that they can spend on their essential needs such as meals, cloths and entertainment. As a result, citizens can contribute to both the society and their own development in the long term. For example, according to statistics, people spend most of their revenues to cover up the bills, and have little to spend to improve themselves. Consequently, demanding people extra money or action to help the community, governments can place extra stress and workload to their lives.
While this point made above may seem reasonable, I firmly believe that extra effort can make a huge difference in terms of the environmental stability. People are highly likely to pollute their surroundings as a result of their careless behaviors – littering sites and not taking action to reduce pollution. If authorities encourage citizens to make efforts such as using more environmentally friendly products, taking part in events that are related to the restoration of the environment, they can easily develop their current economy. For example, in Tashkent, pollution rates has been increasing day to day, and if individuals do not take extra action, they are highly likely to suffer health issues. Consequently, were dwellers to make extra effort, they can help to their environment and economy, as well as increasing their health rates.
In conclusion, although paying the taxes is beneficial according to stability, but I genuinely believe that the merits of extra effort far more outweigh its disadvantages in terms of environmental development and increased healthy lifestyles.
