People hold various perspectives about whether it is more beneficial to travel a lot if a person wants to enhance their common sense of knowledge, or reading a great diversity of books can promote individuals’ point of view with ample advantages. From my perspective, I believe that both present us an opportunity to learn a lot. However, I must admit that reading books may be more useful, and I will be explaining thoroughly my standpoint in the following paragraphs.
On the one hand, it is claimed that the individuals who allocate much more time traveling, they are supposed to possess a great deal of knowledge than the ones who read a lot. Proponents of this view strongly believe that by visiting a lot of places people can discover a lot about a country’s culture and background, witnessing the way of living of the locals and immersing themselves into gaining knowledge. It is also believed that pursuing the chance of going on a trip somewhere, might be one of the optimal choices to get to know and associate with individuals from different ethical and cultural backgrounds, providing us with a myriad opportunities about civilization with an intention of acquiring general information.
On the other hand, I believe that apart from traveling, reading is one of the most useful ways to advance our basic knowledge, providing us with several advantages. Above all, engrossing ourselves in books gives us a chance to explore various cities and countries without leaving the place where we stay. We are able to take out any book from the library or purchase it by allocating some amount of our funds in order to peruse and cultivate our skills. On the top of that, it is irrefutable that, everyone are not able to pursue their desire to travel and learn a lot due to being on a low budget. Nonetheless, books are more affordable in the terms of price and convenience which is a possible choice if we tend to and intend to explore something.
In conclusion, while it is supported that by many proponents, traveling gives you more insight into various topics, enhancing your data about any subject, I agree with those who advocate that reading provide us with deeper general knowledge.
