It is suggested that professional players have become positive role models for young people; yet, the majority of individuals believe that their actions on the field or in other settings have a negative impact on young people. Although watching expert athletes motivates young people, I suggest that their behavior has a detrimental impact on youth since it promotes conflict and waste of money.
Admittedly, some people believe that athletes inspire young people. To be more specific, professional players disclose challenges and failures in their lives, which enhances listeners’ confidence and motivates them to fight harder to attain their ambitions. As a result, they will be successful because they grasp the significance of tenacity, which the expert players have taught them. For example, Virat Kohli attributed all of his success to Sachin Tendulkar, a farmer and Indian cricketer, and remarked that he was motivated by this legendary athlete’s hard work.
However, in my opinion, the most significant harmful impact of athletes’ behaviors on young people is their aggressive character. This is because players not only demonstrate hostility but also use inappropriate language on the field during the game, which encourages children to replicate similar acts or phrases in their daily life. For example, according to a survey report on young people’s volatile character, most young people who are true sports fans exhibit increased hostility. Aside from expressing wrath, young people are wasting their money. To justify, if sports fans would not want to copy their favorite players, they would not have spent so much money. In other words, young people strive to emulate the lifestyle of athletes, spending money on fancy clothes and bodybuilding supplements. As a result, it is proven that the behavior of professional athletes has a harmful impact on young people.
Finally, while some groups believe that professional athletes positively motivate young people, I believe that the following statement has the opposite effect, making young people more aggressive and spendthrift.
