This essay argues that robots bring more benefits than drawbacks, particularly in terms of efficiency and support for human well-being.
Admittedly, it could be argued that robots have negative effects on employment. This view is based on the belief that machines are increasingly replacing humans in routine and manual jobs. For example, many factories now rely on automated systems instead of workers in order to reduce costs and increase efficiency. This suggests that automation may lead to unemployment, particularly among low-skilled workers. Nevertheless, this issue can be addressed if governments invest in retraining programs to help workers adapt to new job requirements.
In contrast, I firmly believe that robots are essential for future development. One key reason is that robots significantly increase productivity and efficiency. In practice, robots are able to operate continuously without fatigue and perform tasks with a high level of accuracy in industries such as manufacturing and logistics. As a result, businesses can save both time and operational costs. Another important reason is that robots improve workplace safety and healthcare services by replacing humans in dangerous environments and assisting doctors in medical procedures. Therefore, the positive impacts of robots clearly outweigh the negative ones.
