Some claim that the management of money and cooking skills should be taught at schools, whereas others say the importance of traditional subjects. I believe the latter view is more reasonable, but in this essay, both perspectives will be delved into.
The first reason is that there is no need to learn financial and cooking skills at school. This is because these given skills can be gained throughout life, and they can be learned solely without teachers, like in schools. For example, cooking does not require any kind of experience. It can be learned mostly by girls from their moms or videos on YouTube. Thus, these are not intricate for people who want to learn, and they can have grapes of them without struggles and barriers on a daily basis.
In turn, the interests of traditional subjects are irreplaceable. So, I admire that these are more vital than cooking or managing money. The reason these subjects are important is that if people have no knowledge about math, they cannot understand financial matters. It is clear that the basis of all subjects is related to math. On the other hand, when it comes to cooking, if biology, in other words, the world of flora and fauna, is not taught in schools, people may not choose useful or hazardous ingredients for their meal at all. In addition, life does not compromise only cooking or money. Individuals should learn their history or geography, and PE lessons are more needed than cooking and managing money to stay fit. Lastly, it can be said that traditional subjects are chosen by scientists in all aspects of life. So if these traditional subjects were not useful for pupils, they would not have added them as mandatory subjects to learn at school.
In conclusion, while supplementing the management of money and cooking lessons has little benefit for the development of pupils at schools, the traditional subjects are more beneficial and reasonable to learn.
