Social media has grown increasingly prevalent in our daily lives. Some believe that social media has a huge negative impact, while others argue its benefits outweigh its harms. In this essay, I will explore both perspectives and offer my own opinion.
One pivotal advantage of social networking sites is make people more connection because they can staying in touch with their friends and their family. For instance, if they are international students or people working away from home they can call and chat with their family or their friends quickly. Moreover, they also access to more information and knowledge including news and some documents that they need. Additionally, social media allows them to interact with the community. Cyberspace can creating online spaces for people to express themselves, or they can keep up with their friends lives.
Conversely, the disadvantages of social networking sites The disadvantages of social networks are equally many. First, some people who can’t control to access on the social media, they’ll get addiction or they’ll isolation themselves of the out side world. Beside that, social networking sites also brings to them too much misinformation if they don’t know how to filter information. And cyberbullying is also the problem that they’ll encounter when they become famous or don’t know how to prove or protect themselves.
To sum up, though social networking sites may have negative impacts, but we cannot ignore its huge positive sides. And I am of the firm belief that the cons of social media is impact alot on individuals. But if we know how to control and readjust to not abuse on social networking sites too much then it will improve their ownself.
