Some people believe that learning a huge number of subjects in school is important, while others, including myself, assume that solely focusing on specified subjects that will positively influence their near future is more considerable.
On the one hand, for some people, students need to be aware of both home country information and have adequate information about other curricula to choose a career in the future. Regarding the home, through the subjects such as history, geography, and geology, which students usually take in their schools, they would have a general view about their home country. Moreover, due to studying the educational school curricula, students most probably discover their passions as well as which, of course, they have been influenced and captured by. For example, some of the students would like to be doctors because they loved studying biology courses, leading to drawing their future.
On the other hand, I side with people who suppose that studying only courses that would assist students to build their future is essential. In some cases, secondary schools in Egypt provide a chance for students to select what they prefer getting into, whether literature or a scientific department, in order to choose which faculty, they would like to get into. In terms of other professional schools, students after completing preparatory school years, some of them going into agriculture or industries schools for a build of the career in these majors.
In conclusion, I am of the opinion that studying your majors is more remarkable than studying other courses owing to saving time and getting deeper in your career.
