Nowsaday, youngsters should travel to other countries to gain knowledge is a major topic of concern in society. While this activity have some benefits to young people’s conprehension, but it is not the most effective way in my opinion. Meanwhile, using technology and internet to improve their knowledge is also a potential measure.
There are envident reasons why travelling to other nations might not be the best option. Although travelling to new environment acquired individuals’s adaptation and allow these individuals learn more about cultures and lifestyles through experiencing unfamiliar tradions and perspectives. This can significantly broaden students’s conprehension because what they learn are not found in textbooks. Travel can be costly and inaccessible for many. Travelling to other countries typically invole in various cost including accomodation, flight and money for courses. As a result, many families, expecially rural one, can not afford expensive cost for their childrens’s trip. Moreover, many countries are strict about visa for visitor, which can reduce the selection of places that can be travel
However, modern technology and internet can be taken advantage to help young students experiencing foreign cultures. Schools can implement new subject using internet , which can hold a discussion between students from many countries. They can shared their knowledge about many aspects of life. This is not only enable students to get to know more other’s country culture, it also improves their language and soft skills. Inaddition, school can send a student to other country, with the support of modern devices, student can do daily vlogs when living there. After that, these vlogs can be shown to student at school, which provide the experiences in other culture without travelling to it. This activity can help saving a lot of money but still ensuring student’s experience.
In conclusion, while international travel can be beneficial for youngsters, it is not the optimal way and using tecnology, internet to prove students’s knowledge in their home environmnent can be affective.
