Obesity is a common health condition. This is also a very concerning issue for youngsters. People frequently blame parents for failing to provide their children with healthy food and unhealthy eating habits, but others also blame the government for failing to address society’s obesity problem.
Parents have an important role in educating and caring for their children since they are the most responsible for any problems that occur. Obesity in children can be caused by numerous factors, one of which is inherited. Obese parents are more likely to pass on obesity-causing genes to their children. Obese parents, for example, will live a lifestyle that leads to obesity, such as having much food available. Another factor that contributes to obesity is parents allowing their children to play with gadgets for extended periods of time, which fosters them to stay up late and annoys the balance of hormones in the body that regulate starvation.
On the other hand, the government must do something to reduce obesity rates. Because of a lack of adequate nutrition education at all levels of society, individuals are less picky about the foods and substances they consume on every day, which leads to obesity. Aside from that, the lack of anti-obesity actions has led to in a lack of regulation and awareness of the risks of obesity.
At last, blaming parents or the government is not an acceptable solution for reducing rates of childhood obesity. Parents must be the first to supervise their children’s diet, activities, and family health education. On the other hand, the government must help society by promoting and educating people about healthy living in a variety of settings, including schools.
