Healthcare is a basic human right which all human beings require. However, if our government provides free healthcare for all citizens it will cause problems such as high costs for the government but it will also benefit citizens and increase their longevity.
Firstly, if every human has their right to acquire healthcare from their government for free this will give citizens great comfort and an ease of mind. Secondly, this action will give access to everyone’s needs which means they will be able to go whenever they are sick. This will allow them to cure diseases and increase their lifespan. Lastly, It will benefit the economy because if healthcare is free then that means people will be able to stay healthy for longer times that means they can continue to work and be active cititizens and contribute to the countries economy.
Nonetheless, free healthcare will not be an easy responsibility for the government as it will be very costly for the government to support the country’s health financially. Additionally, many people may abuse the system and go to the hospital as much as they want just because they can. This will increase unnecessary costs for the government. Finally, this may cause the government to have trouble fulfilling healthcare to the country and meeting their high demand.
In conclusion, making this decision the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages. For example, if this service was provided to us during the pandemic it would have greatly helped the economy and would have saved many lives. I agree with this decision but i advice that there should be rules that come with this service so that the economy will not be severely affected and the health of citizens should be prioritized.
