Modernization has given a rise in the shortage of water more than ever before. There are dual school of thought with respect to water reservation. While some individuals have a notion that as a global water levels are decreasing, fresh water supply should be strictly governed by the ruling parties. However, others argue that such regulations should not be imposed. Prior to my stance, both the views are justified in the ensuing paragraphs.
Proponents of regulations asserts that fresh water should be equally distributed among people. This is mainly because, for several years, large agricultural and industrial companies have utilized public water resources to increase their productivity. However, people in rural areas have faces serious level of poverty due to scarcity of this life-dependent resources, which has led to decreased level of food production. Additionally, it not only benefits the local population, but also helps to thrive environment health, which ultimately promotes biodiversity. If these regulations are not imposed in time, it can lead to serious water shortage problems in the future, which will become nearly impossible to mitigate.
On the other hand, opponents of regulations argue that restricted water supplies might stop the economic growth of a country. Water is an essential part in many sectors or industries, which plays an important role in maintaining the economy of a nation. Additionally, in locations already facing water scarcity, imposing additional strict regulations can worsen the situation.
In conclusion, I strongly agree with the former view as water is an essential element that we should try to protect by all means. It will help to create a world where we can live without worrying and breathe fresh air. However, sometimes imposing such strict laws can affect the economic growth and water deficit areas.
