There is no shortage of things that the government needs to fund to improve people’s lives. Some people think that the government should spend on environment programs. Others think supporting artistic programs is better. In my opinion, I agree with the former. I think it for some reasons, which I will explore in the following essay.
To begin with, the environment has an important role in our lives, however, it has been destroyed a lot. Environment is everything surrounding us, such as: atmosphere, water, ground, etc. It is which raise people, and we take fresh ingredients from the environment. In spite of this importance, it becomes more and more polluted. The forest is being reduced by a lot, the water sources are being polluted that many ocean creatures have been unable to live, the air is being harmful, etc. According to recent research, environmental pollution has a directly negative impact on humans. Future generations have to face the consequences of environmental pollution. For this reason, I am certain that funding environmental protection programs is deserved.
Moreover, spending more money on many environmental programs helps it practice more effectively. These days, people try to conduct a lot of projects to face environmental problems. The effect of these projects will be raised a lot, if it receives more funds from the government. Therefore, the results will become clearer. For example, in response to Environment Day 2023, all buildings in Hanoi turned their lights off for about one hour. This program saved a lot of electricity hours and raised resident’s awareness about saving electricity to protect their environment. If the government uses extra money to fund this program, it will broaden its impact to other cities and many people will be aware of environmental’s importance.
In conclusion, I strongly agree that the government spending money to improve the environment is a great way to protect not only their lives, but also for future generations.
