In this era, news plays a vital role in an individual’s life. However, some people believe that the news media industries have motivated people’s lives in negative ways. Although news has many advantages, I personally agree with this statement as this industry spreads only unimportant news with big titles.
To commence with, the media is one of the important pillars of the country. People use the news to connect the world and to know their surroundings. Additionally, people read news to increase their level of knowledge. Apart from this, the government provides details of various new rules and policies. For an example, during period of corona authorities shared information of new cases and gave update of lockdown by the help of media industries.
On the other hand, the media have positive as well as negative impressions on public life. It is an undeniable fact that people learn what they see and nowadays news channels mostly show bad news on the television. Moreover, this type of news may inspire other people to commit crimes. One main primary reason is politicians, i think that the media is working for political parties as they mostly show the one sided news only. Finally, media industries should be focused on true news, which can help to uplift the society.
Besides this, news organisations are promoting different types of advertisement to earn money. Also, they inspire fake lifestyle and products which may harmful for public. They not only promote advertisements, but also publish fake faces like politicians, film stars, and musicians. Instead of this, the media should promote people who work for the betterment of society. We hardly saw any news in which they promote people who work for NGO, who do some voluntary work. Finally, media might increase the negative attitude of the society.
In conclusion, I would like to reiterate that the media industry increases the negative mindset in the country. Apart from this, media should show the real problems of society.
