Many people usually prefer visit foreign countries and some individuals argue that these people might be more open minded than others. In my opinion, these individuals have more sense of empathy and patience.
Firstly, traveling other cultures forces persons to enhance soft skills and to tolerate other people. In some situations, they face to challenging issues such as problematic persons who obstruct their trip. In that case they should show tolerance for avoiding unexpected problems. For example, in long plane trip, passengers can encounter problematic individuals and should ignore them because they cannot do anything about it.
Secondly, persons who meet new cultures also meet new norms and taboos. If they not know well these norms, they would not integrate into new societies. This situation contributes improving sense of empathy and adaption skills. For instance, students studying abroad tend to be more flexible and easily adapt new environments in their work life.
In conclusion, traveling expends individuals’ points of view for life and makes them more flexible and it also helps endure tough and problematic persons and cases.
