In today’s world, watching sports has become common, and it is considered by some as a waste of time. Although it may be interesting or useful for keeping in touch with others, I personally believe that doing that activity and leaving other duties undone are not worth doing it, and it can adversely affect to children.
On the one hand, most watch sports after a working day or in evenings. Take an example of watching football, it seems therapeutic for them to watch, as those people watch it to have fun. Particularly, after all day work, coming to home with being tired, and with the intention of releasing the strains of a whole day, watching sports tend to be found appealing for them. Another possible reason can be the purpose of keeping in touch with others who they have not met for a while. In this situation, with the time passing, watching sports might be worthwhile in order to reinforce the relationship between people.
On the other hand, it takes 90 plus minutes to watch a football game or even in other games. I consider this engagement as a waste of time, as many can leave their duties and tasks undone, procrastinating them to another day. Such leisure activity might lead to disorders these people’s lives, if individuals keep doing it. From a children’s perspective, if they start to watch sports, and keep going on, this waste of time could be detrimental for their health and revolution. In order to watch sports programs, they may leave their homework and duties that teachers and parents give them which are highly useful for children’s future. Furthermore, as long as they watch sports in evenings, it adversely influences their productivity and makes them exhaust the next throughout day.
In conclusion, while individuals may feel better after watching sports, and it might help them keep in touch with others, those people via watching these sports programs tend to let their necessary tasks undone, and children may embrace detrimental effects – exhaustion and a lack of productivity.
