In the modern world, globalization is increasing, and communication between people from different countries is growing rapidly. As a result, some people believe that we should develop a brand new language that will be used in all countries for international communication. In my opinion, this idea has some advantages, but the problems are more than the advantages.
On the one hand, developing a single international language will make communication easier. If all people speak the same language, they won’t have to spend many years studying foreign languages. This is especially important for students, employees, and businessmen who have to communicate with people from other countries. For instance, international meetings, conferences, and traveling will become more convenient because people will be able to understand each other clearly. Moreover, misunderstandings that may occur due to translation difficulties will be minimized.
On the other hand, the invention of a new language would result in many serious problems. First of all, it is very difficult to learn a completely new language, especially for older people, who already know one or two languages. It would require a lot of money, time, and teachers to teach this language in all schools and universities. In addition, languages are associated with culture and history, and many people would feel that their national identity is being ignored. This would cause resistance among the population, and even lead to international conflicts. It is worth mentioning that English is already used worldwide, and the invention of a new language would only cause confusion instead of solving the problem.
In conclusion, although the invention of a new international language would help people communicate easily, the cost and difficulties associated with it outweigh the advantages. It is better to improve the usage of existing international languages instead of inventing a completely new one.
