It is often argued that people travelling abroad should adapt to the customs and traditions of counties which they visit. I largely agree with this view because adapting to local customs demonstrates respect for the host culture and help travellers communicate more effectively with local people.

For instance, citizens may expect visitors to wear modest clothing in religious place. If visitors do not follow this custom, they may unintentionally offend local people.
