Nowadays, zoo serves as a place for both educational and relaxation activities. Many people enjoy visiting zoo even though they’re no longer children. The positive side of zoo is that it’s the place for the people who would like to spot rare animals without having to travel abroad and make them pay a lot of money. Many parents like to take their children to the zoo, so that their children would be able to learn about different animals and their environment. The zoo also accommodates visitors with free transportation throughout the place so that they don’t need be exhausted while walking around. And there’s also a narrator, who’s the person that explained about different animals.
The negative side of zoo is that every animals being trapped in cages here are being taken from different places around the world and also with different conditions, which are varied along with the animals. If the animals are being trapped in cages for a long period of time, they might die since they can’t adjust themselves to the place where they’re living now. Furthermore, if the animal is being released back to nature again. It might have a hard time getting food supplies since most of their food comes from the zookeeper.
In my view, zoo should not be a place to study about animals. Since they are being trapped in cages and it gives them feelings like they’re prisoners or slaves. Worst case scenario, some zookeepers even attack the animals physically which makes the animal feeling more depressed. The best place to learn about animals is the national park. Because, it has more area for the animals to roam around and live their lives. Nevertheless, we should not also cross the limit of the animals. Since they’re also another living thing just like humans.
