Some people believe that teenagers must spend their leisure time doing helpful activitiesas acquiring new skills or aiding society. While others think that young people ought to spend their free time relaxing and doing things that they want to do. We are going to discuss this topic before giving my personal opinion.
On the one hand, this century has been tremendously competitive for teenagers. Therefore, teenagers must aim for one major skill and enhance it in as many ways as possible. In addition, it depends on their age and their personality, becausewe all have varied characters. For example, some people enjoy learning history, while others do not want to learn it. For instance, I had a friend who was very lazy almost two years ago. At that moment, I encouraged him to learn any kind of subject; he realized the main idea of my thought, and since that day, he has been learning several subjects like history, English, and math. Additionally, these subjects play a significant role in every person’s life.
On the other hand, children must spend their free time learning subjects that are not complicated, because their minds are not prepared for these kinds of assignments. But, it is useful to start learning an easy subject, and they will enhance their minds spontaneously. For example, my friend’s little sister started learning mathematics from a young age. Now she is working as a financial assistant, and she is an expert in her occupation. Moreover, her colleagues have said that she can do plenty of jobs simultaneously. For that reason, you do not have to learn something with your best effort; you just need to learn something that you love.
In conclusion, I agree with both ideas, but I personally prefer to start learning from a young age, because in your childhood you have plenty of leisure time. And, spending your free time doing useful things or learning something, you will have several advantages for your mental health, encouragement system, and critical thinking. Furthermore, if you want to learn something that is very complicated, it is only recommended for teenagers.
