Medical management and education are two key aspects whereas some people believe that those should be provided by the governments, while others think it is beyond their obligations. While certain people stand with personal liability of these two aspects, this essay claims that either country and individual should be involved in this case.
On the one hand, health care and education are the parts of human rights which should be equal for all citizens. In other words, governments, as liaison units of the state, have an obligation to guarantee them. Moreover, the healthier and better-educated the society in a country, the easier it is to develop the country. Finally, the whole of society should not be worried about paying for health care and schooling for either the upper or lower class. For instance, Germany is a developed country that offers free education and medical management, hence the society in this country is very prosperous.
On the other hand, a country has its own authority and budget constraints which have been agreed upon. More exactly, the governments have a responsibility for many aspects, not only health and education issues but also in economic areas. More importantly, a person takes full responsibility for their own health and education, so they cannot rely on the government. They pay different taxes for the government according to their income. If the society get the same assistance from the government, it will create unfairness for individuals who pay more taxes.
In my opinion, free education and health care should be adjusted according to the country’s condition. Therefore, a government with a lot of funds can provide them, but this is not applicable for poor countries that have many loans.
In conclusion, irrespective of the debate about whether health care and education are free or not. However, I believe that it depends on the economic conditions and decisions of all parties.
