People have different views about public health care and education. Here, a good number of people think that governments should spend money for public health care and education, whereas others believe that these are not government’s responsibility. In my opinion, governments should spend money for public health and education, and we should help them.
Most importantly, there are a variety of reasons why I think that governments should do these works. One possible reason is that education and health care are the fundamental rights of a person. So, government must spend money to build hospitals, schools, colleges, and universities in order that poor people can get free treatment and education because these are their fundamental rights. Another possible reason is that every person pay tax, vat so that government can improve health care systems and education systems. Finally, there are many brilliant people in every country who are poor and cannot pay their educational and health care costs. In order to improve their life style, governments should spend money on these sectors.
Despite the above reasons, some people often say that governments should spend money on other sectors instead of health and education sectors, and there are some reasons why they think that. Firstly, at present, every country spend a lot of money on health and education sectors. Every year, new government hospitals, schools, colleges, and universities are being constructed; however, these hospitals and educational institutes are failed to provide better services than private hospitals and educational centers. For these reasons, the number of patients and students are increasing in private hospitals and educational institutes, respectively. In addition, most of governments sectors are corrupted. In many countries, governments provide free medicine for poor residents, but poor people cannot get free medicine and treatment because of corruption. Although every country is increasing budget for health care system, many people are dying without proper treatment.
In conclusion, governments should spend more money on education and health care systems on account of education and good treatment are fundamental rights of a person, although people cannot get proper facilities from governments hospitals and educational centers. So, I think that governments should be aware about corruption, and they should ensure before paying money for these sectors so that people can get proper facilities.
