Some individuals tend to think that government have to alleviate citizens cost for consuming healthy food, with subsidies. While other believe that they must put tax on unhealthy food, in order to increase healthier lifestyle; which in my perspective it does not seem to be ideal alternative.
Many people argue that, government have to provide funds for healthy groceries, to make healthy meals more achievable. They assume that, with lower price the amount of consuming will rise, and the houses would be filled with healthy snacks including fruits and vegetables. And with that considered, the obesity-related diseases and health problems due to fatty will reduce. Another beneficial point would be, the result in agriculture. With the growing need of vegetable, farming industry have to rise an eye-catching production efficiency. This can lead to lower costs, and ultimately, a stronger economy and affordable produces.
However, others seem to have another solution. They think higher prices and tax on unhealthy foods, will prevent the major usage. When price of products like soda, chips and fast food get high, the consumers will reduce day by day. Another key point is that, the companies have to change their products ingredients, into less-fat and less-sugar product in the hope that, the number of buyers will increase. Also, the given tax could be used in educations system, to enhance students’ knowledge and raise the awareness in health field.
To sum up, from my point of view both of these ideas can contain possible advantages. With affording subsidies, citizens can customize their nutritional habits filled with healthy dishes. While by controlling unhealthy snack purchases, we can reduce people’s unhealthy meals. All in all, it is vital that we build strict line between offering and taking with promoting healthier choices.
