The concept of improving public health for all the city dwellers, people is divided into two stances. One state is that the government should make sales of fruits and healthy foods. Another state is that the administration should increase taxes on unhealthy foods. In this answer, I will look at the unique roles that both parties play in this endeavor before drawing a reasoned conclusion.
Providing subsidies for both fruits and healthy foods would let low-income individuals access high-quality on nutritious foods. This strategy will enhance residents’ quality of life; moreover, these healthy foods can decrease the disease rate, such as the obesity rate and heart disease rate. For example, city dwellers can be impacted by their eating habits after the government passes on the price; this is a significant step to promote residents to have better eating habits and help them to live longer and healthier.
On the other hand, increasing taxes on harmful foods, which is reduces the consumption of such foods, is also a good option. This state encourages residents to eat or drink something healthier alternative. For example, a video from NutritionFacts.org in 2020 proves that if the administration increases taxes on unhealthy foods, the use of those harmful foodstuffs is reduce significantly.
In conclusion, I believe both of these states will help city dwellers improve pubic health and maintain a strong and robust body.
