It is believed by some individuals that, spending money on the exploration of space is not reasonable, this money can be invested in more effective purposes. In my opinion, there should be a balance between expenditures of the world people live and outer world.
On the one hand, I agree that, there are a number of problems that should be tackled in our planet, such as hunger, and unemployment. If a multitude of people are dying due to famine, solution of this urgent issue has to be in the first place, rather than doing research in space. It is a fundamental right of everyone to have food supply, and without meeting this basic needs, other advancement lose their true value. In addition, rates of unemployed people are increasing every day. The money which is expected to be funded on the cosmos can be devoted to creating new job institutions. Enhancement of the well-being of this planet’s inhabitants will bring more and more chances to explore the universe deeply.
On the other hand, I believe that, it is important to expend capital for the researches in spcae. One of the reasons is the increasing number of people. It is anticipated that, in the immediate future it will be difficult to find a shelter to live. As a result, scientists are trying to find a planet with similar conditions that will allow human beings to survive there. Furthermore, people are depleting all the natural sources available. In order to provide our demands, we need to find another universe to live in.
In conclusion, I agree that, there are issues which have to be solved immediately in our planet, including hunger and unemployment; however, I strongly believe that our time on Earth is limited, and we should find a new shelter for survival.
