It is widely argued that, for most people, children expand their abilities better through playing traditional games than through playing modern games. Personally, I do believe that this assertation is completely undeniable due to certain reasons
To commence, it is imperative to acknowledge that traditional games provide social interactions that enable children to develop some important skills. The rationale behind this is that these game activities require children to support each other and work out together in order to win, unlike modern games which only involve virtual communication. To put it simply, children may improve skills such as teamwork, imagination and communications due to face-to-face interactions. This can be illustrated by the example of the game hide-and-seek which demand active participation and cooperation with others, thereby enhancing emotional bonds.
Furthermore, one must consider the undeniable fact that traditional games play an importing role in fostering children’s physical development. In another words, these games often involve physical activities that require movements and coordinates when playing. Therefore, participants in such activities are believed to have a healthy habit at a young ages, reducing the risk of suffering from obesity and related health issues when they get older. For instance, games such as jump rope or tag encourage children to run, jump and make their body active; as a result, they helps children to be physically healthy and improve their immune system.
To sum up, I strongly support the argument that traditions games have ít advantages outweight those of modern games in fostering children development
