A prominent debate in contemporary society involves the function of art. Nowadays, an increasing number of people believe that art should either preserve traditional values and historical heritage or challenge social norms and promote innovation.
There are various opinions about the role of art in the present time. However, I am going to discuss both perspectives and share my own opinion.
