With society’s progress, there are diverse ways that individuals use in terms of communicating on a daily basis. While many people believe that directly communicating offers benefits, I do perceive that indirectly communicating through electronic devices could be a more greater choice.
First and foremost, communicating through electronic devices like smartphones or laptops could be a clever option due to their convenience. These days, with the internet improvement and electronic device progression offers different ways to communicate with each other right at home. Therefore, commuting to a coffee shop or random spots to meet their partner is no longer necessary insteads it would be convenient when just making a video call or sending an email right at their home with a phone. Take me as an example, I find it convenient when communicating to my family members or my companions whenever I miss them. I don’t need to go back home, just make a video call to them when I have free time.
Furthermore, choosing to communicate by telephone could be a better choice to save time. It is evident that it will not take much time to make a call or send an email in terms of communicating with partners while people would need to spend time commuting to a cafeteria or random places to have a direct communication. Hence, indirect communication could be a chance to help people have more time because it does not require people to leave home and commute to appointed places. Referring back to my case, I have noticed that when communicating by smartphone or laptop computer, I can save not only time but also expenses, because I do not need to spend time and budget on traveling expenses and cost of cafe or food when leaving home.
Bringing it all together, despite the attractive merits of communicating face-to-face,
I firmly believe that indirectly communicating would be a superior choice because of their dramatic advantages associated with convenience and time-effectiveness.
