People hold different opinions about whether school should teach children for recycling and avoiding waste or parents. While some think that children should only taught at school with showing the videos and facts of wasted products, I believe that parents also should take responsibility as well.
There is much to be said regarding why some argue that teachers should educate the young to be careful to use the things without waste. First obvious reason is that teachers often show children the evidence of wasted materials or products on videos which demonstrate the effects of waste to the environment. By watching them, children often feel guilty and remember this moment as an unforgettable lesson. Moreover, discussing the consequences of this unpleasant occasion with classmates and teacher may shape a habit of avoiding waste. Because, they become aware of bad results as long as they whenever misuse something.
On the other hand, I think that not only teachers can teach children to become eco-friendly as they work with children just 3 or 4 hours in a day. Parents’ contributions play an equally important role as teachers since children spend most of their time with family members at home. Additionally, children tend to obey their parents more than other people. Therefore, by restictions or punishments, children could be tought to be careful the thing they use and follow the rules. My brother could be a real example to this issue. My mom is very strict and as a result always my siblings are always careful not to waste things.
In conclude, although some people think that only teachers or parents should be responsible to instruct the young to be eco-friendly, I opine that both of them has a crucial role in developing this beneficial habit. While teachers show children the evidence and consequences of wasted thing, parents can monitor them wheather they are following the instructions or not.
