There are different opinions about whether prevent waste and recycling are very important for society, particularly children should know this phenomenon. While some people believe that it should be learnt at school for children, I think that households, especially parents, should pay attention their children to avoid waste.
On one hand, there are several reasons why many people support the idea that school is the best place for learning all useful things such as recycling and avoid waste. Firstly, children never feel and lack of information about how to change environment if they go to school and anywhere. Because, at school, many teachers always organize some seminars for different topics every month and instruct some regulations and by this child learns quickly. Secondly, nowadays, many parents cannot pin down how to learn recycling system, hence, teachers can teach very clear to avoid waste and recycling with some practices. For example, in Japan, government organize some subjects for prevent waste at schools which is called “saving environment”.
On the other hand, I think that this phenomenon is not only taught at schools, but also parents should teach their children about recycling and avoid waste at home. The reason is that there are many children who do not understand many teachers and some teachers have not responsibility. Parents play a crucial role in shaping their children’s habits and values. Furthermore, recycling system and avoid waste are not token after without daily practices, therefore, children regularly carry out clean all places at home. To illustrate, my close friend, Tom, is very honest person and good character to avoid waste. Him character is not shaped at school, but at home, his parent teach more things.
In conclusion, although some people argue that teachers give some structure for students to avoid waste, I think that this phenomenon is developed by parents than teachers.
